Momma Brinn Update:

Brinn and her puppies are home, but they are not out of the woods yet. Brinn had to have emergency surgery to remove her uterus because it was infected. The puppies were bottle fed during that time, but we wanted to get them back on mom as soon as possible. She is nursing them now, with lots of supportive care on board.

During hospitalization (and pre-surgery), she also passed another puppy that was sadly deceased. Her total puppy count was 15, but she only has 8 remaining.  We are working hard to prevent more loss, but it is challenging as we think the puppies are also battling infections, as well.

This family still needs our help, and we still need yours! We VERY MUCH appreciate everyone who has donated to her care so far, but this was a very large ( and unexpected) expense, and it isn't over yet.

After a generous discount from the vet, the emergency bill came in at $4162.74. The fundraiser has raised $1630.00 so far. Please continue to share the fundraiser on our Facebook page and help us help this family in need.
